Premier(e) by Eric Canete

Here we go!

So for those of you who don't visit Eric Canete's blog (what's the matter with you?) I thought I'd post a little about the new book Premier(e).

This book kicks off our new venture Lightbox, which is a collective of artists and writers who develop intellectual properties on both the visual and narrative aspect of properties. Right now we're a small group consisting of Eric Canete, Axel Ortiz, Jojo Aguilar, Jonard Soriano, Geoff Ong and me. At the moment we're hard at work developing our own IP's with the intention of self publishing them, but you probably won't see the fruits of that until 2010. We sent out these books showcasing Eric's work to potential clients in hopes of getting work for our humble collective and now we're making a small number available to the public. For a full run down on the story you can check Eric's blog, more specifically this post.

Anyone interested please feel free to email me. My email is in my profile so just click away and you'll find me. Please keep in mind because we have so few available, and not to mention the production value is so high, the price for this portfolio is higher than your traditional artist sketchbook, if you can even qualify it as such.

In other news, Eric and I will be at the New York Comic Con in February. No table setup, although we'll be dropping in from time to time with Dustin Nguyen and Sean Murphy. So if you see us around, please don't hesitate to say hello.

Here we are. Lightbox. You'll be seeing more from us soon.
