SDCC, 10 Days and Counting

San Diego Comic Con International is fast approaching and I'm bursting at the seams. This past school semester was pretty rough on my scholastically challenged self and I decided to take the summer off and concentrate on writing, in hopes of having something to show for my efforts at SDCC.

My plan hasn't exactly played out the way I thought it would, but I am ready to pitch a few backup stories to the good people at Udon. Call it fate or what have you, but Alvin Lee's cousin is a good friend of mine and I was fortunate enough to befriend Alvin several Comic Con's ago and at this year's New York Comic Con we got to talking about the possibility of me writing some stories for them.

Nothing is set in stone yet, but I do have a few short scripts finished and I plan to pitch them at this year's show. Best case scenario, they get published. Worst case scenario, they don't. My trump card is my good pal is working on one of the scripts and hopes to have it completely drawn by the time the show comes around and we'll pitch the script as a completed back up story ready for the printer.

If the story doesn't see print, I'll probably show the completed pages here. If it does see print you might get a preview. Maybe. I make no promises.
